I’m a Scholarship Winner. How do I get my check each year?
Starting in the year 2024-2025, the scholarship is $5,000.00. A $1,250.00 check will be issued to you each year you qualify.
- The first check is $1,250.00. At the beginning of your first year, show proof of registration and acceptance with the college of your choice and proof that you are a full-time student.
- The second, third and fourth checks are $1,250.00 each. At the beginning of each subsequent year, show proof of registration with the college of your choice and proof that you are a full-time student and maintaining a 2.5 average grade.
- Disqualification: If the scholarship recipient does not contact Barbara Scarbrough for two consecutive years, you will be disqualified for any additional scholarship money.
Pre-2024 scholarship recipients: How to get annual scholarship check in the amount of $625.00.
TOTAL VALUE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP IS $2500/$625 per year payable to recipient at the END of each college year.
- Proof of grades (minimum 2.5 GPA) must be presented to Barbara Scarbrough, Treasurer, for collection of Funds.
- Proof of full time student (minimum of 12 credit hours).
DISQUALIFICATION: If scholarship recipient does not contact Barbara Scarbrough for two consecutive years then you will be disqualified for any additional scholarship money.
