OUR MISSION
“The mission of the organization is to serve Saraland, Satsuma and Chickasaw High schools by giving scholarships to seniors each year. The cities are growing and we want to continue to grow with them.”
HOW IT WORKS
Saraland-Satsuma Community Education Advisory Committee, Inc. awards scholarships to needy students with good grades and community service. Our source of income is donations of corporations and individuals. There is no minimum donation. You can give as little as $1. As a 501 (c)3 charity, donations are tax deductible to the full extent of US law. Our federal tax # is 63-1189134.
We serve three high schools: Satsuma High School, Saraland High School and Chickasaw High School. At least one senior from each school will receive a $3000 scholarship.
No money is used for administrative salaries or fees. 100% of donated money goes to scholarships.
Saraland-Satsuma Community Education Advisory Committee, Inc. engages the public by giving people and corporations a personal way to help needy students pay for college. We envision a community where all students have a college education option.
