Aaron Milner

Dr. Aaron Milner has devoted his career to education, both in the secondary and now post-secondary settings.  Beginning as a middle school teacher in the wiregrass area of the State, Dr. Milner has spent nearly 30 years devoted to students of all ages and their success. 

Prior to being announced as president of Coastal Alabama Community College in January 2024, Dr. Milner spent more than 10 years building a powerhouse city school system in Saraland.  While he was proud of the reputation Saraland City Schools earned over those years, his most proud accomplishment was creating pacesetting opportunities for the students in academics, career exploration, and athletics. 

Now serving nearly two years at Coastal Alabama, Dr. Milner’s leadership at the College has created a culture of pride and impact.  Additionally, the impact is shown as the College experienced record breaking enrollment numbers over the past year.  Dr. Milner has set a powerful vision for the College, and he now strives for the next level of dedication to the College’s nearly 10,000 students. 

Dr. Milner’s impressive educational and career background may have certified him to serve as president, but his forward-thinking and visionary attitude has established him as a leader of integrity and movement. 

As he often says, “we’re going to get there.”
